British Cycling today announced a new relationship with Retül – a professional bike fit company that uses the latest technology to ensure a holistic and data led approach to ensuring the most effective and efficient riding position.
Retül is now British Cycling’s official bike fit system supplier and will work in conjunction with its medical team to ensure riders’ bikes are set up to ensure maximum performance and minimise the risk of injury. Using 3D motion capture technology, Retül’s Vantage system records the rider's positions in motion, therefore creating the most realistic picture of the rider's actual interaction with the bike when out on the road and trails. The relationship will initially run for two years and will ensure that British Cycling staff have access to the latest in bike fit technology, training and support.
